What is GCM Registry?
GCM Registry is an independent global registry for coaching and mentoring social impact projects.
Is GCM Registry a coaching accreditation body?
No. GCM Registry does not accredit coaches or coaching organizations. It registers and verifies social impact projects.
Is GCM Registry available worldwide?
Yes. The platform is designed as a global registry and welcomes organizations from every country.
Does GCM Registry replace ICF, EMCC, or AC?
No. It sits alongside them as a neutral layer for verifying social impact — membership in any federation is welcome but never required.
Who can register?
ICF, EMCC and Association for Coaching chapters, independent coaching associations, universities, schools, NGOs, municipalities, foundations, companies and other organizations.
Are projects manually reviewed?
Yes. Every submission is reviewed by an authorized administrator before verification — there is no automated approval.
What is a Registry ID?
A unique identification number assigned to every verified organization and project, permanently and publicly.
How does QR verification work?
Each verified project and certificate includes a QR code linking to its official public verification page.
Can I verify a certificate online?
Yes. Anyone can verify certificates or projects using the Registry ID or a QR code — no account required.
How long does verification take?
Most submissions are reviewed within 5–10 business days, depending on completeness of documentation.
Can individual volunteer coaches join?
Yes. Volunteer coaches and mentors can create individual profiles and take part in registered projects.
Do I need to belong to an organization to join?
No — you can create an individual volunteer profile first, then join or be invited to registered projects.
What are badges?
Badges recognize milestones — such as volunteer hours, countries served, or focus areas — shown publicly on a coach's profile.
Is there a free membership?
Yes. The Explorer plan is free for individuals and organizations with limited features.
How do the Global Coaching Impact Awards work?
Registered organizations nominate completed, verified projects, which are then scored by an independent jury before winners are announced publicly.
Is Partner status a paid tier?
No. Partner recognition is invitation-only and separate from the paid membership plans.
